黄昏

黄昏的林子是黑色而柔和的
林子里的池沼是闪着白光的
而使我沉溺地承受它的抚慰的风啊
一阵阵地带给我以田野的气息……

我永远是田野气息的爱好者啊……
无论我飘泊在哪里
当黄昏时走在田野上
那如此不可排遣地困惑着我的心的
是对于故乡路上的畜粪的气息
和村边的畜棚里的干草的气息的记忆啊……

The woods at dusk, dark but mild
The pond in the woods gleaming white
And, oh, the wind that indulges me with its comfort
Constantly bringing smells of the fields...

Oh, I love the smells of the fields for all time...
Wherever I drift about
As long as walking in the fields at dusk
Oh, the steady memories of the smells
Of the dung that drops on my country road
And the hay piled in the barn
Will haunt in my heart again, and again...
