　　風雨交加的夜裡，一群執行特種作戰任務的伙伴又登艦了。
　　夜，漆黑得伸手不見掌，戰艦有意向黑夜挑釁，亮出疾馳的雄姿，駛出了港，犁開了浩瀚海洋，衝破了重重浪濤，濺飛起的海水，從艦首滑落到艦尾，這樣罕見的英勇航行，好像特意在向艦上勇士們不甘示弱般顯露威風。
　　勇士們可無動於衷，在後艙興高采烈拌著嘴兒打發時間。
　　「小李子，昨晚看電影的時候，怎麼腳底板抹豬油─開溜啦！」萬能博士見小李子躺在吊床上發楞，想借題劃破這沉寂氣氛。
　　﹁有人打幻燈找我，難道你戴了木頭眼鏡兒─瞧不見？﹂
　　﹁看你狗嘴裡長不出象牙，今晚怎麼哪？是不是吞下了炮子兒，火藥味這般濃。﹂
　　﹁……﹂小李子橫了他一眼，沒吭聲。
　　﹁別這樣和尚打道士︱沒事找事的。﹂小周從中打圓場：﹁說真格的，那位找你的是男士還是小姐？﹂
　　﹁還用得問？當然是Ｘ加上Ｙ就是愛囉！﹂笑猴幽默了句。
　　說著，說著，大黟兒便唱起：﹁Ｘ加上Ｙ就是愛……哈哈﹂地樂起來了。
　　﹁各位甭唱甭鬧啦！你們真會豬八戒吞鎖匙─開心了。隊長有請，請各位到官廳去趟。﹂田組長吆喝著。
　　大家習慣收斂起笑容，霎時更換了副嚴肅面孔去接受出擊前的任務提示。
　　隊長心情沉重，兩眼凝視在桌上的地圖，當他把作戰透明圖套上，便抬頭睜圓了眼睛對夥伴們說：
　　﹁各位同志，這次任務，要比往常都要艱鉅，以前我們祇是在浙江、福建、廣東沿海突擊，離我們基地較近，這次我們卻要向遠離我們基地，一千三百二十多公里地的山東半島上的龍山前鎮突擊，希望大家在心裡上要作個準備，我們要抱定不怕苦，不怕難，不怕死的精神去完成上級賦予我們的神聖使命，好在大家都是身經百戰的勇士，相信這次任務，定也能像往常一樣很順利去按期圓滿達成。﹂隊長語畢，便向隊友們掃了一眼，頻頻點頭讚許大家的膽識與體格。
　　﹁那太好了。﹂幾個山東老鄉不約而同雀躍稱道。
　　﹁副隊長，請把當地地形，跟大夥介紹下。﹂

　　﹁在圖上西北方的這個小島叫莫邪島，島的南端有座燈塔，是我們將後執行任務最好的導航目標，燈塔西南方就是石島，石島是有名魚鹽小商埠，在石島北面約四點五華里地，便是我們將要突擊的目標─龍山前鎮，當地人稱它叫做北　。據情報透露，在這兒據守的部隊，約有一個加強連，由於我們突擊隊從沒來這麼遠襲擊過，所以他們在戒備上也就較疏忽，尤其像今天這樣惡劣氣候，他們更會感到高帎無憂了。這當更是我們達成使命立功的好機會。﹂
　　﹁副隊長判斷得很正確，但是大家還是要本著以往膽大心細的要領去執行這次任務，各位有沒有其他高見！﹂
　　﹁沒有，我們一切聽從隊長指示。﹂勇士們深信祇要隊長親自率他們出任務，沒有不勝利成功的。
　　﹁沒意見，就請各位回去詳細檢查下自己裝備，整理妥當，就要盡量休息，準備在Ｄ日，大夥兒再齊心戮力，來打這個漂亮的突擊戰。﹂隊長乾脆鎮定，頗有信心的結束了任務提示。
　　海上週遭再也尋覓不到一點星火，風越颳越大了，雨也愈落愈濃了，海濤可豎起了皚皚白旗，在向勇士們揚手滿表歡迎。
　　小李子可按不住心中疑竇：
　　﹁副隊長，風浪這麼大，會不會影響任務執行？﹂
　　﹁怎會呢？幹我們這行的，風就是我們良伴，雨是我們知己，浪是我們心聲，有它們伴著我們永遠不會感到寂莫，永遠不會有所畏懼。﹂
　　﹁夜，暗得好似烏賊塗滿了墨汁，這樣伸手不見掌的夜裡，你有把握摸得到目標？﹂
　　﹁小老弟，你又說外行話了。夜，就是我們接敵的屏障，夜愈深愈濃，我們奇襲的成份也就愈高愈濃，我們任務，也就輕而易舉的可以圓滿達成，戰果定當更加豐碩可觀啦！﹂
　　﹁你老家不在龍山前鎮，怎有把握摸上去？﹂
　　﹁小老弟，你真的隔著門縫瞧人─把人看扁啦！甭說是龍山，就是龍山幾十方圓地，我對它都是好比外甥回到娘舅家那樣的熟悉。﹂
　　﹁你怎麼會這般熟？﹂
　　﹁我知道你準不會相信我的，這也難怪，因為你到我們隊上還沒來多久，不太知道我的底細，其實以前我就在這拉過好幾年游擊，幹我們這行的，還不是把灶王爺繫在腿肚子上過活─到處為家。那時，我在這些地方，就好像是老和尚化緣─團團轉。在這兒逞強的鬼子，漢奸和土匪，不知有多少吃了我槍子定心丸而去見了閻羅王。老弟，放心，包準不會有什麼差錯。﹂
　　﹁怪不得上級這樣器重你。﹂小李子豁然大悟。
　　﹁哈，哈，哈……﹂副隊長開心朗笑得幾乎把海都要給笑翻開。
　　﹁你可嚐到了他們的苦頭？﹂小李子想掃副隊長的興。
﹁怎會呢？日本鬼子祇是程咬金的三斧頭，沒後勁；漢奸賊子可是道道地地

吃裡扒外的蜻蜒咬尾巴─自吃自；土匪崽子更甭提啦！他們就好像廟門裡的四大金剛─嚇唬人，其實他們是不堪一擊，那時我要打他們眼，包準不會誤傷他們一根眉毛，他們呀！就好比火鍋裡的螃蟹─無法橫行啦！哈，哈……﹂副隊長笑成了彌勒佛。
　　小李子對他可佩服得五體投地，他深信就憑副隊長，幾十年從血缸裡爬出來的經驗，定可輕而易舉達成這次嚮導重任，他更感到，祇要跟在隊長，副隊長身旁，就有著無限的安全感，什麼事兒到頭來都會很順當的。

　　　　　二
　　Ｄ日凌晨，隊長下令：﹁換乘！﹂同志們一個個按照預定計劃，各自換乘到小艇上。
　　風，疾厲地颳著；雨，愈發傾盆地落下，浪濤幾乎要把小艇蓆捲吞服下去，副隊長在先頭利用莫邪島的燈塔亮光，引導著小艇向目標挺進。
　　勇士們個個淋成了落湯雞，雖然天氣是這般惡劣，但也是他們最指望的大好突擊時辰，他們面對這種氣候已是太熟悉而習慣了。唯有在這種情況下，才是他們顯身手的好時刻。勇士們個個都有預感，這次準又可轟轟烈烈幹一場，並且會滿載而歸的。
　　快到灣裡，為了秘密接敵，小艇熄了發動機，勇士們利用他們粗壯鐵臂使勁划著漿，小艇也由縱隊變為橫隊向海灘直衝，如山的浪濤一個緊接一個向小艇湧來，好似也想跟健兒們來次角力，比比高下，一忽兒，浪花蓋過了小艇，健兒們毫不在意若無其事的繼續划，接連好幾個急浪湧撲上來，小艇已淹進了不少海水，萬能博士忙脫下頭盔潑水道：
　　﹁這下子可在石頭上甩烏龜─硬碰硬了。﹂
　　笑猴可抓住狐狸尾巴頂撞了他一句：
　　﹁你可不打自招承認是地上爬的十三點囉！﹂
　　﹁嘻嘻……﹂逗得大夥兒忘了這緊張的時刻。
﹁你呀！祇會在盆子裡啄食吃─沒出息。有種的，上岸後，比比看，到底是誰宰得敵人要多些。﹂
　　﹁我們就騎驢看唱本─走著瞧吧！說真格的，像大陸上那群螞蝗剁不死，等我上去後，不把他肚皮翻過來，就算我裝孬種。﹂
　　﹁本來嘛！你就是沒出息的孬種。﹂博士可也抓住機會不饒他。
　　笑猴氣急，一時掏不出比較妥貼的對話，想到博士前額微禿，便幽默諷刺了幾句：
　　﹁我身經百戰，今晚你能同我一道出任務，就好比禿子跟著月亮走─沾光啦！﹂
　　﹁你長得有多帥，多棒，別屎蝌蜋戴花─臭美你那個大扁頭了，那已是過了時的江西老錶︱不流行哪！﹂

　　﹁真是狗咬狗─一嘴毛。﹂蓋仙也上前湊熱鬧。
　　﹁蓋仙，別在老夫面前講話帶刺兒，我看你不過祇是在碟子裡洗臉─還淺得很。﹂博士可光火不認人了。
　　﹁你們都是毛豆子燒豆腐─自家人，就甭再吵啦！﹂組長從中調解，怕傷和氣。
　　冷不防，一個急浪打過來，把艇可沖橫了，組長使勁掌穩舵，同志們齊心協力划，好不容易把艇扭正過來，大夥兒繼拼命划，很快便超過燈塔線進到灣裡了，灣裡風浪平靜多了，艇也不再會那樣顛簸，船速比前加快多了，健兒們的心也加速了跳動，誰也不吭的各自運運氣，準備迎接立刻到臨神聖的突擊戰。

　　　　　三
　　﹁嘩！﹂的一聲，勇士們可往前擠成了一團，經驗告訴他們，艇已攏岸，戰鬥序幕即要揭開。勇士們跳出艇涉水搶灘，登上岸，茫茫平坦的海灘，尋覓不到一處能作掩蔽身子的地形地物，倘若不是老天爺這麼暗，相信祇要敵人擺上兩挺機關槍，準可把全隊弟兄撂倒在灘頭上。
　　火力組總算在灘邊摸尋到了一條破船，這艘船經過日積月累潮汐的沖激，裡面已積滿了泥沙，好似上蒼有意跟突擊隊安排好，專門供火力組架槍，用來掩讓搜索組前進似的，火力組以破船為陣地，把機槍架上，穩會把他們打得落花流水。
　　搜索組在火力組嚴陣以待的掩護下，很快便匍匐到了岸邊，使突擊隊感到最為驚異的，岸上尚沒發現敵人半滴動靜，打仗最怕是莫過於摸不到敵情，如果不知敵人藏在哪？怎不叫人耽心吃慌呢？
　　隊長心裡想：﹁紅軍也許認為今晚風強雨急，便高枕無憂把警衛後撤了。﹂
　　勇士們匍匐在祖國的大地上，已嗅到故鄉泥土的芬芳，感到份外的親切與慰藉，一時緊張的心情可都被沖淡了。
　　幾位山東老鄉，皆不約而同將頭首緊依偎在地上，自言自語道：﹁這就是俺的老家，家鄉的泥土是格外親切，份外芬香啊！﹂
　　萬能博士更是不同凡響的，在地上狠狠抓起一把把泥土往口袋裡裝，瘋狂般硬想把整塊土地搬走，免得故鄉再遭到敵人的踐踏。
　　隊長命令弟兄們繼續前進，火力組便很快跟進佔領了座較高的土坵，這下子火力組的火網準可把整個龍山前鎮罩住了，相信祇要敵人一有動靜，定可將其一網打盡。
　　小李子首先發現了獵物，輕聲道：﹁蓋仙：你掩護，我前進。﹂
　　﹁小李子，小心點，你上吧！﹂蓋仙就好射擊位置。
　　小李子加速匍匐前進，兩眼冒著火星，心地暗自在想：﹁他是不是真正敵人？是否被迫參軍來的？倘若他是我的鄉親，我這一上不是後悔莫及了嗎？領袖曾訓示過我們：﹃不是敵人，就是同志﹄敵人到底是少數，我不能錯殺了人，我該怎麼辦？……軍令如山，﹃對敵人寬大仁慈，就是對自己殘忍。﹄不管怎樣，還是

上吧！﹂小李子想著想著，腿在發抖，心也感到有些寒顫，驀起身一個箭步，鐵
臂絞住了敵兵脖子問：﹁你叫啥名字？﹂
　　敵軍使勁掙扎，觸發身旁機關槍﹁卜卜………﹂地咆哮起來。
　　蓋仙氣得氣呼呼地斥責道：﹁小李子，真你娘的，跟婊子談愛情，不知死活。﹂
　　在旁的另一敵兵，聽槍聲，慌忙拉動槍機吆喝道：
　　﹁站住！不許動！﹂
　　蓋仙冷不防的從側面﹁卜卜﹂給他來了兩槍，另一敵人便應聲倒地歸了西天。
　　蓋仙還在那兒埋怨：﹁今晚可在陰溝裡翻了船─不值得。﹂
　　小李子聽著蓋仙還在嘮叨，心中頗為不安打量著：﹁這下子可隔著靴子抓癢─徒勞無功啦！﹂頓時心一橫，拔出水手刀插進敵兵的心窩，便把他撂倒在地上。
　　連連槍聲，驚得龍山村的紅軍從夢中醒來。
　　突擊隊的弟兄個個訓練有素，經隊長燈號指示，便迅速迂迴到村莊兩側佔領了有利地形，紅軍們卻一個個傻楞楞提起槍猛往哨所麇集增援而撲了個空；突擊隊可在一通信號下，兩邊槍聲齊放，打得敵人橫躺豎臥。
　　小李子想搶功補過，起身便提起衝鋒槍向敵人來個左右一百八十度掃射，開心地說個不停：﹁過癮！真過癮！……﹂想不到埋伏在石島方面敵人的側防機關槍：﹁喀喀……﹂地響了起來，小李子見隊長跟在身旁，忙向隊長打招呼：﹁隊長：臥倒，臥倒。﹂誰知說時快，行時慢，小李子已身中數彈，搖搖幌幌，向前趕不到幾步，剛打完一梭子子彈，便不支倒地了。
　　隊長忙躍過來扶攙住小李子問道：﹁怎麼樣？不打緊吧！﹂
　　﹁隊長：沒什麼？祇是右腿掛了彩，隊長：甭管我，趕快追！追！追！﹂
　　隊長要親自替他裹傷，被他堅拒了。
　　﹁隊長？趕快追殺敵人要緊！甭管我，我會自行裹傷，裹好傷我會馬上跟上。﹂
　　健兒們追趕敵人四處逃竄，還有不少紅軍逼得往海裡跳；石島，無邪島的敵砲正向龍山海灘盲目射擊，照明彈亦滿空飄掛著，殘餘紅軍仍龜縮在伏地堡和戰壕裡不敢抬頭，祇是瞎舉槍在那亂放，這下子他們可神氣活現，斷斷續續還可聽到他們火線喊話：
　　﹁老鄉！放下武器吧！﹂
　　﹁繳槍不打啦！﹂
　　﹁你們已被我們包圍了，放下武器就可活命！﹂
　　﹁你們團長也被我們俘虜了！﹂
　　﹁………﹂
　　博士笑著說：﹁真見了他娘的大頭鬼，瞎子說夜話─胡說，他們把我們看成一團人啦！﹂
　　副隊長又氣又笑的答腔：﹁那可不是，真是貓哭耗子─假慈悲。同志們：準

備手榴彈，預備投！﹂
　　﹁轟！轟！轟！﹂紅軍們應聲倒地再也不吭了。
　　隊長領著大夥兒向敵陣衝刺，轉瞬間，這場戰鬥便平息了下來。隊長預感到，敵人絕不會輕易放過咱們，這時突擊任務已告圓滿達成，於是毅然下令：﹁分組轉進！﹂
　　石島敵軍發現突擊隊在後撤，隨著膽子又壯了起來，並離開陣地向突擊隊實施其慣技─人海戰術。突擊隊大部人員在敵軍照明下，很快便上妥了艇；岸上僅留下火力組在掩護，敵軍可一波復一波向火力組簇擁上來，火力組的勇士可不含糊，用機關槍跟敵人一排排，一列列地點名，紅軍們屍體已是堆積如山了，但一波又一波的敵軍仍在往上湧，火力組已與敵人膠著狀態，看樣子是撤不走了。
　　槍聲愈來愈密，砲火也越來越濃，失血過多的小李子也被震醒過來，他揉揉眼睛，見同志們仍在跟敵人火拼，同時又發現自己陷在敵人的腹地，霎時精神猛振，奮不顧身，端起衝鋒槍，就在敵陣裡來個三百六十度掃射，紅軍已倒下過半，當他再裝上彈匣，又向敵人掃了一轉，敵軍已大部就殲，可是小李子再度身中流彈，仍勇往向火力組跟前衝奔過來，沒多遠，便不支倒在血泊中了。
　　還是副隊長眼睛精靈：﹁哪不是小李子？火力組，加快射擊，掩護我上前把他搶救回來。﹂
　　﹁副隊長，還是讓我去。﹂老張爭著要去營救。
　　﹁不行，你已受傷，扛不動他，還是讓我去。﹂小周也不甘落後。
　　﹁還是讓我去﹂火力組每人都力爭要去營救。
　　火力組不約而同的一齊起立，端起槍直向敵陣衝鋒前進，這下殘敵可嚇得心驚膽顫，魂不符體而個個都在槍口前倒了下去。
　　副隊長扛起血淋淋的小李子往海灘奔馳，並命火力組掃蕩後按計劃轉進。
　　掃蕩沒多久，來犯殘敵已全部就殲，火力組在敵人探照燈照明及豪雨遮蔽中，很順利登上了小艇，便向海上預定集結方位返航。

　　　　　四
　　風在猖獗地咆哮，雨在滂沱地傾倒，浪濤可高舉起旖旎的旗幟在那歡呼─迎接勇士們的凱歸，敵人也在岸上不停地在為健兒們鳴放著歡送禮炮。隊員們可樂得個個都笑逐顏開。祇有副隊長那艘艇，每人皆懷著緊張的心情在替小李子急救。
　　小李子流血過多，已成休克狀態，副隊長急得直冒冷汗吩咐：
　　﹁老張：趕緊跟他注射針強心劑。﹂
　　約莫過了十來分鐘，小李子恢復些微知覺，兩眼微睜，嘴角吐出喃喃細語，因浪聲太大，副隊長就是用耳朵貼近他唇邊，也無法聽清半滴意思，老張好似聽出了他在關心戰況：
　　﹁今晚我們打勝了仗啦！現在我們正在返航中。﹂
　　﹁……﹂小李子微微點頭，嘴角扯起了些微笑容。

　　﹁這場仗，完全靠你打勝的。﹂副隊長兩手握住小李子的右手。
　　﹁……﹂小李子直搖頭。
　　﹁如果今晚不是你從敵陣衝出來，殺得那群兔崽子王八啃西瓜─滾的滾，爬的爬，稀里花啦的話，保證我們火力組今晚成了肉包子打狗─有去無回了。﹂老張也頗為激動握緊他另一隻手。
　　﹁那可不是。﹂副隊長滿同意老張說法：﹁不是你，說不定我們早已拔出水手刀掏出我們肚腸在祭土地公了。﹂
　　﹁……﹂小李子仍幌著頭，兩眼淚水直往耳根流，他奮力掙扎，好似內心隱藏著許多話要告訴大家。
　　﹁你需要什麼？儘管講。﹂副隊長湊近他耳際問。
　　﹁不！不！我不行啦！﹂
　　﹁你安心休息，回基地馬上就可進醫院療治。﹂
　　﹁不！我…我的確…支撐不住…了。﹂小李子咬緊牙根在艇上掙扎。
　　﹁要有信心，相信祇要靜下心來，傷勢定可痊癒的。﹂副隊長用衣袖替他拭乾眼角淚水。
　　﹁你們…為啥要…要救我回來？為啥…不…不讓我光…光榮…死在…大陸…國…國土上？﹂小李子使勁從口袋裡，掏出一把故鄉芬馨的泥土，撒在自己心窩上，兩眼一閤，就這樣安然與世長辭了。
　　同志們見他這樣壯烈地去了，無不為他抹了把英雄淚。
　　當大夥兒正沉溺在悲淒的濃霧中時，田組長在無線電中卻又行全網緊急呼叫：
　　﹁龍騰︵註一︶，龍騰，我是虎躍︵註二︶，石島方面來犯敵人砲艇兩艘，現在正向我急速接近中，要特別注意戒備。﹂
　　︵註一︶─龍騰：是突擊隊通信網全呼代號。
　　︵註二︶─虎躍：是火力組通信代號。
　　﹁虎躍、虎躍，我是龍騰一號︵註三︶，你的話我已全部收到了，望你加速向預定目標前進。﹂
　　︵註三︶─龍騰一號：是隊長通信代號。
　　﹁虎躍聽到了。﹂
　　敵人砲艇兩艘，分別向突擊隊最後撤離的副隊長及田組長兩艇襲擊，由於我艇小巧，敵人的砲火沒法命中目標，相反地，敵砲艇可中了我們不少機槍子兒，隊長雖再三命令儘速脫離，但敵艇卻死追活纏，約莫接近四十來公尺，副隊長可光火了，命令全艇人員準備手榴彈，想不到，在副隊長一聲﹁預備─投！﹂的口令下，果真有不少手榴彈在敵艇上開花了，霎時敵艇冒起一團團火焰。副隊長隨即命令：﹁加速轉進！﹂敵艇可在濛濛大海裡緩緩往下沈沒，從此再也看不到敵艇蹤影了。
　　﹁想不到他們竟敢半夜裡來叫城門─碰釘子。敵軍砲艇簡直是紙糊的，不堪

一擊。﹂老張可神氣十足。
　　﹁誰教他們不長眼睛，在老虎頭上拍蒼蠅─找死。﹂副隊長同樣志高氣昂，胸脯挺得偌偌高。
　　﹁可不是，真他娘的老壽星吃砒霜─活得不耐煩：他們算是哪頭子蔥？硬要往俺嘴裡塞，也不打聽清楚俺山東老鄉是吃啥長大的。﹂山東老張可樂了。
　　﹁哈，哈……﹂逗得全艇隊員皆捧腹大笑個不休。
　　當隊長剛得到副隊長報來勝利的戰果，卻跟田組長再也連絡不上了。他們是否遭受到跟敵艇同樣命運？這就不得而知了。隊長和隊員們眼看到滿載而歸的戰果，可也就因為田組長那艘小艇失蹤，而感失望掃興得憂心忡忡，每個人心坎好似填塞了塊大石頭壓得喘不過氣。

　　　　　五
　　隊長率領夥伴們回到基地，見各報刊載突擊勝利的新聞，他內心霎時泛起無限愧疚，在這次戰役中，雖然擊斃不少頑敵，虜獲很多難能可貴的情報資料，鼓舞起了沒法估計的民心士氣，掀起了大陸敵後反抗高潮，但因犧牲了一位生死與共的小李子，和失蹤了六名如手如足的夥伴，在他的身上再怎麼，也拾不回一絲喜悅。
　　政府各高級首長，對突擊隊能這樣達成遠程突擊任務，並有難於估計豐碩戰果，甚為讚許慰勉；對李烈士，更是以隆重莊穆祭禮，來追悼緬懷這位為國捐軀的英雄。
　　領袖對李烈士的英勇壯烈殉職，特親自題頒﹁成功成仁﹂輓額；並另頒旌忠狀，特別稱讚李烈士﹁忠貞為國，殊堪旌揚，特頒旌忠狀，永垂式範。﹂
　　李烈士靈堂佈滿了政府各首長，長官，及各機關團體學校送來的輓軸，輓聯，和花圈。面帶微笑略顯清痽的烈士遺像前擺滿了鮮花祭品。
　　雨，在淅瀝地哭泣，哀悼忠貞英豪的烈士。憂戚的密雨，帶來了一批批，一群群，前來祭悼的首長，長官、同志、父老和學生們的無限哀傷。每每進到靈堂都是那樣的嚴肅、莊重：步出靈堂個個又是那般的傷感，哀怨。
　　英雄永遠是受人尊重敬仰，素不相識，髮鬚全白的李老先生，特以一襲中式打扮，前來向烈士敬禮致敬，誰看上去都會認為他是烈士的至親，於是隊長便上前冒昧地問道：﹁老先生是小李子什麼親人？﹂
　　﹁俺不認識他，但俺敬仰他，李烈士雖然死了，精神卻永遠是活著，俺是山東人，他這次突擊俺老家為國犧牲，俺特地來向他致敬。﹂
　　學生們祭悼後，都在靈堂紛紛稱道：
　　﹁像這樣隆重的祭典，是罕見的。﹂
　　﹁瞻仰到他的遺容，簡直就像一個好端端的人熟睡在那。﹂
　　﹁一個英雄為國捐軀，精神與肉體都會獲得永遠的慰藉和安寧。﹂
　　﹁這樣死，已是重於泰山了。﹂

　　﹁你們看，門口又擁進來了一大群女士。﹂
　　﹁常言道，英雄愛美人，美人羡英雄。﹂
　　﹁男子漢，誰又不想當英雄？﹂
　　﹁要嘛！就打鐵趁熱，現在我們就在李烈士靈堂前簽名從軍，為烈士復仇！﹂
　　﹁對！對！﹂
　　於是同學們便在莊嚴的靈堂前，掀起了從軍復仇的熱潮。
　　隊長和隊員們，無不在這熱情洋溢，偉大的場面感動得淚落。
　　行最後告別式時，隊長淚顏洗面地道：
　　﹁小李子，安息吧！你這樣死，已是重於泰山，而死得其所了。　領袖已給你冠上了﹃成功成仁﹄的榮銜，革命軍人最終理想，也就是要做到不成功便成仁，現在　領袖已認定你即已成功，又已成仁，這是軍人最高榮譽。小李子，安息吧！你已後繼有人啦！在你靈堂前，不是已掀起了從軍高潮嗎？我們將會踏著您為我們開拓的血路前進，替您復仇！替死難的同胞復仇！小李子，安息吧！再見！再見！……」
　　在場的同仁都以淚水洗面了。

　　果真沒出隊長預料，田組長所率的那艘小艇，被敵艇的砲火掀翻了。敵艇見目的已達，發射最後一群砲彈後，便轉舵急馳，去營救他們被我手榴彈擊沉的那艘砲艇了。
　　組長見敵艇已遠離，便游到覆艇附近，並以閃光信號連絡分散的夥伴，首先攏艇是笑猴，緊接而到的是小周、博士。這時，組長頗為心急地問道：
　　﹁你們有沒有看到蓋仙，大象他們倆？﹂
　　﹁沒有！﹂
　　﹁組長：我們還是先把艇翻轉過來。﹂博士可不願在水裡久泡。
　　在大夥兒齊心協力下，艇已翻正過來了，組長隨即下令：﹁上艇！﹂
　　上艇打了好幾分鐘燈號連絡，仍未發現失蹤的兩位同志，艇上健兒個個焦急萬分。
　　﹁組長：我們還是下水去搜尋。﹂笑猴更是火急。
　　﹁對！笑猴的意見很好。﹂小周滿表贊同。
　　﹁要救，就趕快下水呀！還蹲在這兒拉屎─等個屁。﹂博士更是急得火上冒油。
　　﹁各位：要搜救，我們先得卸下裝備，記住，定要爭取時間，還有個來小時就要天亮，不管怎樣，我們都得在三十分鐘內回艇開航，否則，後果不堪設想。﹂組長極為鎮定指示了一番。
　　隨即同志們便往海裡﹁噗咚！噗咚！﹂地跳。

　　約莫過了二十來分鐘，總算把蓋仙，大象倆救上了艇，組長緊張的臉譜已綻開了些微笑容吩咐道：
　　﹁小周：發動開航；博士，笑猴請你倆，趕快跟蓋仙，大象裹傷。﹂
　　組長吁口氣，便抱起無線電，跟隊長連絡，老半天，卻沒法收到一絲音訊，祇好悶聲不響，全神貫注羅盤，維持方向疾駛。
　　雨越下越大，風也愈颳愈猛了。海浪已豎得丈來高，靠在組長邊的博士，心中委實難能平靜下來，一直對組長處置抱怨不滿：
　　﹁組長：我真不懂，為啥要下覆船命令？這下可好啦？弄得我們變成沒頭蒼蠅─瞎撞。﹂
　　﹁博士：你真想買鹹魚來放生─不知死活。我們小艇引擎故障了一部，難道你不知道？若不那樣，我們就等於是個瘸子在跟常人賽跑，同時敵人砲火又是那樣猛，否則我們早已成了甕中鱉，再也沒法子去學叫化子唱山歌─窮開心哪！﹂
　　﹁對，組長老幹勁，準是錯不了，真不那樣，說不定我們已成了火鍋裡的泥鰍鑽豆腐─活不了啦！﹂笑猴也頗有同感。
　　說著說著，一個急浪直往艇上湧蓋過來，經過大夥齊心協力澆潑湧進來的水，總算是沒把艇淹沒。
　　黃海的浪濤有意要慰留小艇，艇上的健兒也有些戀戀不捨離開祖國的山河，祇恨天將黎明，不急於離去，將會再遭到敵軍的襲擊，組長知道，如再迎著東南逆風強行，恐怕短期內很難遠離海岸線，於是果敢轉舵改向東北東斜風疾行，並吩咐著：
　　﹁各位協力操漿，加速小艇遠離敵岸。﹂
　　船速飛快前進，組長可在艇梢深深地吁了口氣。

　　天朦朦亮，蓋仙在右舷發現破洞，急忙報告：
　﹁組長，這兒有個漏洞。﹂
　　﹁快拿衣服去堵塞。怪不得水一直潑不乾淨。﹂
　　當蓋仙去堵漏時，發現洞口有圈亮晶晶的發光體，經驗告訴他，這準是一顆未爆彈：
　　﹁不好了，艇上栽了顆未爆彈。﹂
　　﹁未爆彈！﹂大夥兒都感到有些驚訝。
　　組長卻很鎮靜道：
　　﹁不要亂動，博士：你來掌舵，讓我過去看看。﹂
　　﹁這砲彈什麼時候碰上的？﹂小周問博士。
　　﹁準是在覆艇後，被敵砲艇轟上的。﹂
　　﹁總算老天爺有眼，栽進的砲彈沒發火。﹂
　　﹁響了，我們就好比在床底下放鷂子，不妙啦！﹂

　　﹁那可不是，就是現在景況，我們還不是在啞子吃湯圓︱心裡有數。﹂
　　﹁要是昨晚組長不改變航行方向，硬要逆風行駛，惹火了這枚砲彈，那我們真是吃不完，兜著走啦！﹂
　　﹁組長就是有先見之明，真是吉人天相。﹂
　　組長在艇外用手探了下，彈尾露了半截在外頭，急得直冒冷汗嚷道：
　　﹁減速！減速！別讓彈體再往裡邊鑽。﹂
　　浪濤一個緊接一個向彈尾沖激，浪一湧來，艇上每人心弦便﹁砰！砰！﹂顫抖好幾次，心兒都快跳到喉邊了，口腔也感到一股熱氣往外冒。
　　﹁組長：還是讓我來。﹂笑猴拔出水手刀想上前處理。
　　﹁不行呀！別莽撞！這可不是跟敵人火拼的時候，拔水手刀幹啥？你真想在電線桿上綁雞毛︱好大的膽︵撢︶子。﹂大象拉了笑猴一把。
　　﹁還是讓我來！﹂組長不願把這份危險工作，撇給部下。
　　﹁你不懂！還是讓我來。﹂笑猴一時情急，把話說溜了嘴。
　　﹁……﹂組長沒吭聲。
　　﹁不懂？你懂得好多？你還不是狗掀門簾子─全仗一張嘴。﹂博士可聽不順耳：﹁甭再打腫臉充胖子︱死要面子活受罪。﹂
　　﹁你錯怪了我的意思，以前我在廢彈處理小組幹了好些年，對這種玩意性子已是摸得清清楚楚。﹂
　　組長怎好把這危險事兒往下推：﹁無論你幹過什麼？像這樣的廢彈你總沒碰到過吧！﹂
　　﹁在這方面的經驗，我敢大膽的說，是比你們多得了許多。﹂
　　﹁是呀！組長：還是讓笑猴來試試看。﹂小周也有同感。
　　﹁好吧！你可要留心點。﹂組長後退了一步。
　　笑猴滿不在乎，在艇裡艇外摸探了好一陣子，才吩咐著：﹁周兄：熄火，現在請各位委屈些，下水後離開小艇百來公尺，以策安全。﹂
　　同志們皆議論紛紛不表贊同：
　　﹁下水？讓你一個人在艇上哪怎行？﹂
　　﹁艇炸了，我們就好比寡婦死兒子─沒指望啦！﹂
　　﹁你這樣稻草人兒救火─自身難保的法子，我們怎信得過？﹂
　　﹁你們都認為我這樣做是大姑娘養孩子─費力不討好囉！﹂笑猴頗為疑慮。
　　﹁不是這意思，我祇是希望大夥兒能共同研究一個萬無一失的處理辦法。﹂
　　﹁是呀！要死我們也得死在一塊兒。﹂
　　﹁對！有福同享，有難共當。﹂
　　﹁嘻！嘻！﹂笑猴可被這番多餘的顧慮惹笑了：﹁甭說得哪麼絕？難道你們不信任我？
我笑猴什麼時候半空裡翻過觔斗─不著實的幹過冒失鬼？﹂
　　﹁並不是不信任你，為啥要我們下水？而且還要離開小艇哪麼遠？﹂博士頗

感懷疑。
　　﹁不過祇是以防萬一，免得大夥兒跟孕婦樣去過獨木橋─挺︵鋌︶而走險呀！﹂
　　﹁以防萬一？真是見了你的大頭鬼，在這茫茫大海心，出了萬一，難道叫我們餵魚去？﹂博士有些情急。
　　﹁各位靜靜。﹂組長以命令口吻下了決心：﹁笑猴是有他的一番道理，在安全上，我們是應多加考慮：博士、小周，你倆協助蓋仙，大象游離小艇，看我信號再登艇。﹂
　　﹁組長：你呢？﹂大象耽心組長。
　　﹁我留在艇上協助笑猴排除廢彈。﹂
　　﹁組長：還是讓我留下，因我手傷不能游水。﹂大象力爭要留在艇上。
　　隨後，大夥兒皆爭著要幹這份危險的助理差事。
　　﹁他手傷，怎行？還是我留下。﹂
　　﹁還是我留下。﹂
　　﹁組長：你開口呀！讓我留下。﹂
　　﹁不！你們都跟我下去，不要耽誤了時間。﹂組長有些著急。
　　﹁……﹂大象跟笑猴比了個手勢，意思是要他跟組長說個情，讓他留下。
　　﹁組長：﹂笑猴另有高見：﹁既然這樣，大象傷勢較重，是不宜沾水，在我看，還是留他下來協助我比較恰當。﹂
　　﹁是呀！組長就讓大象留下吧！﹂博士從中說句公道話。
　　﹁……﹂組長沉默了半晌方點頭。
　　當四位同志下水遠離了小艇，笑猴便在艇裡艇外敲將起來，大象在旁可放心不下：
　　﹁笑猴：請你要學醜媳婦見公婆那樣─處處小心點，別在這節骨眼裡出了岔了：如真弄響了砲子兒，那我們就好比鰻魚死在湯罐子裡─值︵直︶不得。﹂
　　﹁老兄：怎可跟我掃興？辦這檔子事，我又不是大姑娘坐花轎─頭一回，其實我幹這種活兒，早就把它當為家常便飯了，大象：請你放一百二十個心，但願你要留意堵洞，等會兒我把砲彈拔出的時候，小心海水往你肚裡灌。﹂
　　﹁笑話，別看我右手受傷，就是再怎麼樣，我也可在海裡漂上三天五天的。﹂
　　﹁你有這種信心，就好比帽子爛了邊─頂好啦！﹂
　　笑猴在艇內圍著彈頭，小心翼翼削鑿了一圈，他蠻想直接把引信卸下，好讓彈體當塞子把洞堵住，他咬緊牙根，用手去扭轉引信，他右手有些顫抖，額角已冒出大顆粒的汗珠，呼吸也幾乎要被這緊張的片刻窒息過去，大象在旁見狀更是冷汗直淌，他可沈不住氣了。
　　﹁扭不動，就別蠻幹啦！我看還是從艇外取出來的好。﹂
　　﹁甭這樣狗咬鴨子─呱呱叫好吧！從外面拔出，將後拿你的腦袋去堵洞去！﹂

　　﹁就是拿我的腦袋去堵洞，總比把艇弄炸了合划算呀！﹂
　　﹁好吧！依你的，要注意堵漏啊！﹂
　　笑猴趴在右舷，用手輕輕探摸彈尾，委實像他平時在海邊抓螃蟹那般的小心翼翼，擒住了那雙銳剪，順著它的性子，耐心往外拔，猛一使勁，砲彈已緊抓在他的手中了，他得意地大吼了聲：
　　﹁抓到了一隻大螃蟹。﹂
　　海水像消防車的水搶，直往大象頭上噴，他在極度興奮緊張的當兒，忘記右手的傷痛，拿起衣服猛力堵塞﹁咕！﹂的一聲，連衣帶手，可從艇內塞到艇外，海水再也漏不進一滴了。
　　笑猴握住砲彈，活像老和尚放生般，喃喃唸著佛經，把廢彈輕輕滑送進海裡，他這麼一鬆，身上的所有細胞又開始跳躍活了起來，並揚手高喊著：
　　﹁回來呀！廢彈排除掉了。﹂
　　大象右手感到有些疼痛得：﹁哎唷……。﹂
　　﹁怎麼呀？這下可媒婆迷了路─沒得說了吧！你的手也派上用場，甭再拿你的腦袋去堵漏啦！﹂
　　﹁別這樣挖苦人。﹂
　　大夥兒上艇後，都異口同聲稱道：
　　﹁笑猴，大象硬是要得。﹂
　　﹁那裡，那裡，都是托福大家。﹂笑猴樂得滿臉縐紋委實像隻老猴子。
　﹁大象！﹂蓋仙見他躺在艇裡沒吭聲：﹁怎麼水仙不開花─裝蒜啦！﹂
　　﹁去你的蛋！﹂大象有些光火。
　　﹁大象，﹂組長發現他在堵漏：﹁為啥要用手去堵？快，快把手拔出來。﹂
　　﹁不！不啦！﹂大象像撥浪鼓地搖頭。
　　哪怎成？蓋仙插嘴：﹁難道你真想學老太婆上雞窩─奔︵笨︶蛋？」
　　﹁手一拔出來，海水準會把我們小艇淹沒。﹂
　　﹁我們可順勢用衣服去堵住呀！﹂
　　﹁不行！我要以這隻傷了的右手來贖罪，誰叫它在突擊正打緊的當兒受傷，否則，我定可殺得那兔崽子片甲不留，小李子也不致於會為我們丟了性命。﹂說著說著大象淚水直淌。
　　艇上弟兄聽後，無不激動得淚水溢眶滾滾落下。
　　﹁我看還是把手拔出來。﹂組長委實不忍：﹁這樣會影響你的傷口。﹂
　　﹁不！說不就是不！﹂
　　﹁既然他要堅持，就讓他試段時間。﹂小周是瞭解大象固執的個性。
　　組長無可奈何，祇好命令：﹁開航！﹂
　　約莫航行了個來小時，便駛進了公海，大夥兒可鬆了口氣，但正在堵漏的大象，身子感來委實難支，在大夥協力下，終於拔出了他的右手，另用衣服堵塞住了漏洞。行不多遠，艇上的油料快要耗盡，健兒們祇好憑著粗壯的胳臂來划艇了。

　　在同伴﹁嘿唷！嘿唷！﹂齊聲操槳的吵嚷下，大象可甦醒過來了，並發現手已被拔出而埋怨著：
　　﹁你們為什麼要把我手拔出來？為何不讓我來贖罪呢？﹂
　　別這樣傻，跟自己過不去。常言道：﹁留得青山在，還愁沒柴燒？要替小李子復仇，將來機會多得是。﹂組組長忙勸述。
　　﹁是呀！祇要身體好，隨時都有機會去立功、復仇的。﹂蓋仙也插嘴疏導。
　　﹁……﹂大象閉上雙眼默默無語。

　　　　八
　　經過長期勞累，艇上夥伴個個顯得精疲力竭，老天爺總算幫忙，風浪可平靜多了，讓大夥兒渡過了這道幾遭覆舟的難關：可是，現在艇上糧食飲水又成了問題，如再漫無目標漂流下去，那日子真是令人難熬。
　　晴空如洗，風靜浪平，健兒們飢餓得束緊了腰帶，口渴得可心坎著火，咽喉冒煙，嘴唇起泡了，他們再也抬不起槓，划不動槳，為了節省體力，除輪流掌舵外，誰也不願多說一句話。
　　飲水在艇上已成為最珍貴的甘露，健兒們誰也不敢大口大口地喝，祇是一滴一滴往咽喉滴，太陽也有意要來考驗健兒們，委實像把大火傘罩得小艇喘不過氣，蒸得每個人汗流挾背，這麼一來，更加速了他們水份消耗。為了抵擋太陽的灼熱，祇好用海水不斷澆濕衣服來保持身上涼度。在缺水狀況下，誰也不敢喝上一口海水來解渴，在經驗的教訓中，口渴後，如再飲海水當祇有加速死亡，飲水喝完了，不得不取出他們自己身上唯一的淡水─小便，來解渴。他們明知小便是不好嘗的，但為了復仇，好讓生命延續，獻給未來偉大的復國聖戰中，所以祇好閉上眼睛，捏緊鼻子，一口口地喝下去。
　　如今最期望的，也莫過於是下場大雨，好讓大夥兒來解除目前最嚴重的渴荒。期望終歸成了空想，在蒼穹尋覓不到一絲雲彩，失望中，大夥兒祇好躺臥在艇上保持體力，等待生機。儘管處境是這樣惡劣，但他們臉上卻刻劃出來的盡是些堅強剛毅的求生慾，每人都認定，唯有活著，才可把突擊時蒐集來的重要情報資料，送到政府有關當局：唯有活著，才可報這一箭之仇。就是受傷的大象，蓋仙也要力爭來輪流掌舵，把船導向光明的旅途：
　　﹁也該讓我來值班。﹂傷勢較重的大象掙扎爬起。
　　﹁不行呀！你傷得很重，還是讓我來值勤。﹂蓋仙也勉強支撐起立。
　　艇上其他同志都反對他倆值勤：
　　﹁你們倆都已受傷，血也流了不少，是該多休息，還是讓我們來值勤。﹂
　　﹁看你倆臉色蒼白，怎能分擔艇上工作？﹂
　　﹁你們都甭爭了！現在該我值班，你們還是休息吧！﹂博士一股勁的躍了起來，拉下正在值勤的組長。
　　艇在海上順著風兒漫無目的地漂盪，這樣不夠積極的求生，全憑期待機緣的

求生，放在這群生龍活虎似的勇士們身上，怎不叫人難捱呢？前額微禿的萬能博士可愁得蹙眉苦笑直冒冷汗，他靈機一動，使用那躺在艇上歇涼的木槳繫綁在自己的腳上當桅桿，然後用一件件衣服做成了帆掛在槳上，風鼓起了帆，加速了船速，更鼓起了大夥兒更多的生機，每人臉上，可又泛起了希望綺麗的漣漪。
　　﹁博士畢竟是博士，虧他能想得出這些歪主意。﹂笑猴點燃了話題。
　　﹁當然囉！﹂蓋仙接腔：﹁誰不知道他是空前絕後，聰明透頂的人物啦！﹂
　　逗得大夥兒又樂起來了。
　　﹁別這樣轉彎拐角的罵人好吧？﹂博士有些惱火：﹁我看你呀！簡直是豬八戒照鏡子─裡外不是人。﹂
　　﹁你這人真是不識好歹。﹂蓋仙怎肯饒人：﹁你的確是是麵茶鍋裡煮的一個皮球─混蛋。﹂
　　﹁博士是為大夥兒好，你怎可嘴巴不乾淨呢？﹂大象從中說了句公道話。
　　﹁喲！喲！喲！﹂蓋仙撅起嘴：﹁看你屁股上掛鑰匙，所管的是哪一門呀？﹂
　　說得大象無話可對：笑猴臨機轉變話題：
　　﹁大象，這下子，你可成了洋人看平劇─傻啦！﹂
　　﹁唔！唔！﹂大象窘得吱唔了半晌。
　　逗得勇士們抱腹痛笑。
　　陣陣海風鼓動著衣帆，桅桿一搖一幌，可在博士兩腿間磨擦，沒多久，兩腿磨破得向外滲著鮮血，為了替大夥兒打開生路，他忘卻痛楚，咬緊牙根，對自己的雙腿訴著心願：﹁腿兒呀！拜托，拜托，請委屈些，忍耐點，領我們上光明的旅程，幫大夥兒渡過這道難關，我們會感激你，國家更會感激你，因為我們這兒有許多情報資料需要遞出去。﹂
　　博士兩管腿已是挺聽話了，如今不是好像兩根大柱子，結結實實，牢牢穩穩地頂在艇上夾住了桅桿？腿已麻木得好像是身外之物，於是他更振奮起精神在跟腿子打氣：﹁就是這樣，聽話的腿子，成功以後當居首功，我們會把一切功勳交給你，勇敢的腿子，要堅持到底。」
　　小周見博士臉色有些鐵青，想替換他：
　　﹁博士，你休息會，讓我來撐帆。﹂
　　﹁不！我已經磨壞了，何必又換你？﹂
　　﹁還是讓我來。﹂組長也搶著要替換。
　　﹁組長：你剛下班，還是讓我來接班。﹂笑猴同樣爭著要接替博士的工作。
　　﹁說不，就是不，我已得到經驗，知道怎樣來操縱，現在我不是能隨心所欲了？﹂博士堅拒，不讓他們來接替這份艱鉅的苦差事。
　　就這樣，槳和衣帆在博士的腿上綑紮了三天四晚，他的心機總算沒白費，而導航大夥兒接近了一片綠洲，見綠洲，健兒不禁欣喜若狂抽動了馬達，用引擎的預備油急駛了好一陣子，快攏岸，引擎再也轉不動了，大夥兒祇好用槳來划艇，

順著急流，衝上了小島，在島上搜尋了一轉，沒有發現一滴水一粒糧，個個都像炎夏的大黃狗，吐出舌尖，張大嘴兒在那喘息。在這上晒下炕的威脅下，大夥兒毫不留戀，離開了這座令人失望的小島。
　　返回小艇，博士駕輕就熟，依然豎起了衣帆，掌穩了小艇航行方向，當夕陽西下，映得滿天通紅，大夥兒像喝醉了酒般，昏沉沉的又渡過了一天，相信祇要憑著毅力，恆心，定可衝破重重難關，深信，上天決無絕人之路。健兒們在暫時失望之中，個個無精打采仰臥在艇上，睨視著晚霞，期待不久能出現一座真正的綠洲。果然皇天不負苦心人，忽然在西方海面，駛來了一艘漁船，健兒們重振起精神，搖幌衣服，漁船終於看到了求救信號，便駛近了小艇，組長要大夥鎮靜：
　　﹁各位請蹲下，裝子彈，加強戒備。﹂
　　漁船遠遠繞著小艇兜了半圈，發現小艇上全是武裝人員，感到這艘小艇是不好惹的，於是，轉舵便加足馬力開溜。
　　這時組長已看清漁船上懸掛的是八卦旗，便很機警地將青天白日旗高舉起來，搖幌吶喊。
　　韓國漁船見是中華民國小艇，瞬即轉回來，頗友善打招呼，並拋下繩索要健兒們上船，博士兩腿累得委實不能動彈，在大夥兒的協助下，好不容易才上到漁船。
　　在船上，雖然語言不通，但他們招待倒挺慇懃，一會兒送這遞那的給健兒們吃，這時健兒們可又好似魚兒得水般的活躍起來了：
　　﹁要不了多久，我們便可到達韓國了。﹂大象栽出了話題。
　　﹁可不是嗎？﹂笑猴幽默了句：﹁到時，我們又增加了個學歷─留學韓國。﹂
　　﹁難道還假得了嗎？﹂小周一股正經。
　　﹁甭這樣隔著牆甩孩子─丟人啦！﹂博士卻不以為然。
　　﹁不是你博士的導航，我們怎能拿得到這張文憑呢？﹂笑猴順手推舟，想拉攏博士。
　　﹁你們看，笑猴子又在學武大郎跳舞─抱大腿了。﹂蓋仙這麼一說，可逗得大夥兒又笑起來了。
