雨晴氣爽，
佇立江樓望處；
澄明遠水生光，
重疊暮山聳翠。
遙想斷橋幽徑，
隱隱漁村，向晚孤煙起。

殘陽裏，
脈脈朱欄靜倚。
黯然情緒，未飲先如醉。
愁無際，暮雲過了，
秋風老盡，故人千里。
竟日空凝睇！

The rain has stopped
Air is refreshing
I stand by
The riverside building
Gaze at distant limpid water shining
And overlapping tiers
Of lofty jade-green evening hills
My thoughts roam afar
Over a branch-off bridge
A tranquil path
And a misty fishing village
Where at dusk solitary smokes ascend

Under the setting sun
Sentimentally against
The vermilion balustrade
I quietly lean
In this dim mood
Without drinking
I am already inebriated
My longing has no end
Evening clouds passed by
Autumn wind aged and exhausted
And my dear is still
Thousand miles away
I look for you all day long
In vain!
