Dangerous Goods Training
Most dangerous goods can be placed on an aircraft or a vessel provided all the preparation work has been completed in terms of the packaging, labelling and documentation. Courses marketed by the CBFCA through its training partner All Modes Dangerous Goods (AMDG) are of the highest industry standards and meet the strict requirements for accreditation by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and are also recognised by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Courses are designed to ensure that nothing is left to chance and include fully interactive sessions in small class sizes so that each course participant receives the utmost attention from the course facilitator.
Courses in dangerous goods compliance offered by the CBFCA include:
Dangerous Goods by Air Acceptance 3-day course -provides full coverage of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and how to apply these in a practical manner to ensure only appropriate, correctly packaged and labelled goods are placed on the aircraft
Dangerous Goods by Air Refresher 1-day course – provides for updated information since the last course was conducted. This course is designed for people who have completed the acceptance course and is mandatory to maintain accreditation every two years.
Acceptance of Non-Dangerous Goods for Carriage by Air - this course is mandated by CASA for anyone who handles non dangerous goods destined for an aircraft. It also qualifies the person to accept cargo that is non-dangerous.
Dangerous Goods by Sea – this course provides a comprehensive review of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code and Marine Orders, and includes full training in documentation and packaging requirements for shipping of DG by sea. This course is recognised by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA)
The CBFCA can also assist with the provision of a number of other courses designed specifically for shippers including:
Infectious substances
Radioactive materials
Shipping goods in dry ice
Courses tailored for the needs of industry
Dangerous Goods courses can be provided either in the CBFCA training rooms or on-site depending on the numbers required for the course. International freight forwarders with specific requirements can discuss their needs with the CBFCA and all efforts will be made to provide customised and tailored training for the organisation. _________________ 澳洲专家——澳洲雪梨(澳大利亚悉尼)
