　　澳大利亚的国歌播放时，杜 鹃没有庄严肃穆的感觉。听起来曲调十分轻松、

欢快而歌词没听懂。旁人告知是国歌，我简直不相信，直觉是象迎宾曲。


　　挺有意思的是据说澳大利亚的国歌，是经过民意测验定下来的。1974年，澳

州统计局进行了一次6万人的民意测验。1977年又举行了一次全民公决来决定国

歌。1984年4月19日，总督宣布《前进，美丽的澳大利亚》成为国歌。


　　后来，我找来了中英文对照的国歌歌词。现在的官方国歌只有原始5段版本中

的第一和第三段。（本段翻译有删节）
