[雪泥]

The Storm

When a heart
breaks,
the angels cry raindrops as storms
surge, exhaling a voracious
wind as grains of sand
infiltrate every nerve
ending with stabs
like tiny
needles.
When a heart
shatters,
their eyes turn black as the clouds
boil into view of all souls
who tremble in fear
at the retribution
that will soon
fall upon the
perpetrator.
Lightening bolts strike the ground at
his feet.
Leaving a zig zag trail of burned,
smoking, scars across the land
where his jumbled soul scurries to find,a safe ground.
AND,
he wonders,
why this torment follows
him,
When a broken
heart
shatters.
