Horses fall,
Panting heavily
They’re too tired to ride
The road to nowhere

Our feet are sore
Fromm all that walking
But we’re nearly there
I can feel it coming.

Blistering feet
From all that walking
But we’re nearly there,
The way is clear.

We’re here now,
The water;s glistening
The lake is clear
We’re finally here

The water’s cool
On our blistered feet
But we’re finally here
It’s the end of our fate.

We’ve been together long,
We’ve become closer
The journey was tiring
But we’re the best of mates.

We’re finally here
Some lads stay no longer
But i’ll ewell here
Untill my time is over.
