Chapter two: Vanished Ancient Civilizations
1. Foreword
I wonder what will show all the wisdom and civilization if the earth becomes destroyed one day? The Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty or the Sydney Opera House?
2. Monument
Thinking of the universal law of “.”, “l” and “o” mentioned in the previous chapter, I began to draw a point on the ground and went on to draw a circle with the point as the center. Then I inserted a thin stick at this point. By doing this, “.”, “l” and “o” which represent the universal law came into view. From the top of the thin stick, numerous lines can be connected to the circle, which forms a cone. I think the sign of today’s wisdom and civilization should be a cone. If the circular cone is designed to overlap layer by layer, a kind of energy level is revealed. If the circle is compared to the equator of the earth and the thin stick to the radius of the earth, it is more significant.
What’s more, if we add some knowledge about mathematics, physics and chemistry to the interior of the cone to indicate the atomic structure, solar system, the Galaxy or human body structure, it becomes almost perfect.

By doing this, I was very pleased as if I had completed a great undertaking. Soon, I found it was not that simple. If the surface of the cone is overlapped, the thin stick at the center becomes invisible. How can the concept of “l” be displayed directly? I began to draw a cross starting from the point at the center of the bottom and made the cross intersect with the circumference. If we connect each intersection with the circumference, it then forms a square. If we draw four lines to connect each vertex of the square with the summit of the thin stick, a square taper is formed.
It suddenly occurred to me that I had once seen this diagram. Is the diagram just the same as the Egyptian pyramids? Is it possible that the ancestors of ancient Egypt conceived the pyramids in this way? Is it a coincidence?
3. Vanished Ancient Civilization
1) Egyptian Pyramids
I began to take great interest in the ancient civilizations on Earth. However, I had never been to Egypt and visited the pyramids. Neither did I know the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt. With great curiosity and puzzlement, I consulted a few books concerning the pyramids. According to these books, among the all pyramids, the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkure in the Giza Highland are the greatest and the most ancient. In relation to the three pyramids, there are still a lot of debates even now. Some hold that the pyramids are the tombs of the three pharaohs and were built by themselves. Some argue that those pyramids are not their tombs, for no pharaoh’s bodies, no scriptures extolling them or even written materials have ever been found. Some people believe that the pyramids (including the Sphinx) were built by ancient sages with greater wisdom of 10,000 years ago. Other people even guess that they were built by the extra terrestrials. Anyway, the three pyramids are full of mystery and puzzles: the pyramids are made up of numerous stones, the biggest of which weighs over a thousand tons. It is beyond our imagination how they could be sent to the top without any equipment at that time. Besides, the perfect architectural craft is also a miracle, for there is no evidence of cracks between stones that could fit a blade into. The building of the pyramids even combines with systems of calendar, mathematics and geometry, such as golden section law and the Fibonacci Number Series. The most mysterious of all is that the three pyramids represent the three stars of the Orion and the Nile represents the Milky Way. The height of the pyramids divided by the length of the base approximates the radius of the Earth divided by the length of the equator.
Nevertheless, what I am most curious about is why the pyramids take the shape of a square taper rather than anything else. What religion did the ancient Egyptians believe in?

2) Arabic Numerals
After the Egyptian pyramids, I began to study the Arabic numerals. A lot of implications must exist in “0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 ...”. These figures start from “.”, “o”, “1”. Why “.”, “0” and “1” instead of “6”, “7”, “8”? This is the question.

The Encyclopedia Britannica states “the origin of modern numerals (with 10 as its base) can be traced back to ancient Egypt five thousand years ago ...”. It is Egypt that the numerals originate from!
3) Mayan Civilization in Central America
Now let’s go to Mexico in Central America, where there are also many pyramids similar to those of Egypt.

The ancient Maya in America also has a set of figures: point, horizontal line and a pictograph representing zero. See Fig.2-3
Is it an accidental coincidence that the signs for numbers and the pyramids from two distant continents have so much in common? Probing into them further, we can find that the Mexican pyramids have split America into two parts - south and north, while the Egyptian pyramids have cut Europe, Africa and Asia into three parts. Both sets of pyramids stand at the center of the continents, just like a man and a woman echo each other from a distance. How can this be achieved without great wisdom and without exploring the global geography?

4) Chinese “Yi-jing (易经)”
The greatest ancient philosophy in China is the “Yi-jing (易经) ” , also known as “Zhou Yi(周易)”- The “Book of Changes” in English. The legend goes that it was created by the emperor of the former Zhou dynasty ( about 3500 years ago ). The book consists of two parts “jing (经)” and “zhuan(传)”. The two signs “Gua (卦)” and “Yao(爻)” have evolved into 64 “Gua” and 384 “Yao”. Each symbol of the“ Gua” and the “Yao” have various explanations. The philosophy and the cosmic view of “Yi-Jing” have dominated and influenced thousands of years of Chinese culture, including philosophy, medical science and social principles. But actually,as early as in the Xia (夏) and Shang (商) - Dynasties, the “Yi-jing” began to take its shape, which can be proved by divinatory symbols we have found on the excavated inscriptions of The Shang Dynasty. Therefore, the source of “Yi-jing” remains a mystery. Evidently,the law of “.”, “l” and “o” as expressed in “Yi-jing” is also a part of the disappearing ancient civilization.

5) British Megalith
In England, there is also a prehistoric huge round-shaped stone , a Megalith. No scholar can give an accurate explanation about its implications: an astronomical observatory, monument, or religion and faith? The question can only be left to the readers.

4. Faith and Beliefs of Ancient Wisdom
It should be certain that ancient Egyptian wisdom had their language and texts. Otherwise, it is impossible that they had the kind of intelligence to organize such a great project as to build the pyramids. Let’s leave aside the time it would take to build the three pyramids on Giza Highland and only look at the architectural style and structure. There is a good reason to believe that they must have a kind of religious belief or they had taken the idea from a classical book. Otherwise it would be impossible to have so big a motivation as to do such a costly project. But unfortunately, this religious belief and the related books have been lost.
No evidence, either on the inside or the outside of the three big pyramids, has been found to extol the Pharaoh, indicating that the three pyramids were not built for the Pharaohs. Instead, they are a sort of monument, as I had expected. The apex of the Pyramid points straight at a star, from this I conclude that it is the “.” that they adore and worship. In an attempt to make future generations believe this, they made a particular design on the connecting lines and the size of the three pyramids to match the connecting lines and the light of the three stars on Orion.
The “.” does not represent the name of a god. If translated into any language on Earth or assigned any name to it, it would lose its significance. The “.” has infinite energy and intelligence. In mathematics, it expresses infinity or odd point. The “.” surpasses any god in the world and that naturally explains why no inscriptions extolling the Pharaoh could be found inside the three greatest pyramids. But in the pyramids built later, many divine names appeared and some even extol the Pharaoh as a god, which evidently indicates the decline of religion.
Up to now, all countries and nations in the world have their own supreme god, such as the “ God” of Christianity, the “Allah” of Islam, the “Zeus” of Greek mythology and the “Jade Emperor of Heaven” of Chinese mythology, etc. Some worship a person as god and in modern society some even regard a religious leader or a political figure as god.
Once such named gods appear, the world is plunged into unceasing wars because every country and nation believes that theirs is the true god and more supreme than the others. Statistics show that 70% of the wars are triggered by religion and the other 30% are due to land and race. After the terrorists attacked the World Trade Center on September 11, religious wars are particularly on the increase.
It is a regret that no present religions in the world have shown greater wisdom than the people of the pyramid ( whether the people of pyramid are the current Egyptians, and they have forgotten their ancestors’ faith still needs further study ). The people of the pyramid made use of the apex of the pyramid to imply the divine “.” rather than giving it a name, because they were afraid that their descendents would worship this name as a national god. This “.” is an all-powerful lord and the supreme in the Cosmos. It has no name and thus denies any compliments. If all nations in the world, and even all wise beings in the whole universe hold faith in the “.”, it is certain that any religious war fought for the true god would disappear.
5. Summary
We are not certain whether ancient wisdoms hold faith in “ . , o and 1” . But various evidence shows that the vanished ancient civilizations had a lot to do with these symbols. They had seemingly realized the meaning of “ . , o and 1” . Although it is still hard to say whether this universal law comes from another highly civilized society in the universe or it is a discovery of our intelligent ancestors, it should be noted that this rule had taken root in human beings on Earth as early as ten thousand years ago. It seems that we do not worship it every day, but we have to use it every day. Like the modern advanced computer and robot, the rule of “o” and “1” is also applied in it. Isn’t it strange?
