寒雨連江夜入吳，平明送客楚山孤。洛陽親友如相問，一片冰心在玉壺。

Cold rains follow the flowing river to Wu at night,
I see the guest off at dawn and Chu Mountain so lonely.
If my kinsfolk in Luoyang inquire after me,
(Say) My ice-pure heart is in the jade pot.

Version 1:

A cold rain fluttered and filled the Wu River last night,
This dawn I saw you off through lonely Chu mountains.
Should my kith and kin in Luoyang ask if I am all right,
Tell them that in a jade pot my pure heart still remains.

Version 2:

A cold rain mingled with the Wu River last night,
I saw you off through lonely Chu hills this morn.
Should my friends in Luoyang ask if I am all right,
Tell them in a jade pot my pure heart remains lorn.

譯得也好﹐但意思與原文有出入。WU跟RIVER不是同一回事。據網上解釋﹐楚山不在
附近。不能THROUGH。
